Obituary

WENDY LYNN MACUMBER

June 4, 1966 – December 11, 2019

It is with broken hearts that the family of Wendy Lynn Macumber, age 53, announce her passing on December the 11th after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. Wendy was born in Windsor, Nova Scotia on June 4, 1966 to Anna (Johnston) and the late Cecil Roy Macumber. Wendy's two sons were her lifelines and she was always striving to guide them through life's journey. Wendy had a passion for helping others, mentoring many of the young people around her. She had the biggest of hearts which was evident by the number of families and friends she helped in their time of need.

Though she had challenges of her own she showed us all what amazing strength she had inside. She was always at her best when supporting others. Her father was a major pillar for her and she was heartbroken at his passing. Music was always a big part of her life and she found comfort writing songs and singing throughout the years. She is survived by the three loves of her life, her devoted husband and best friend Trevor and two loving sons Joshua and Zackary (Onya). She is survived by sisters, Debbie (Merl) Rines, Greenfield; Vicki (Garnet) Brown, Bramber and brother, Ron (Jackie), Edson, Roland, Cold Lake.

A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Windsor, N.S.
