Cameron Gordon May

November 23, 2020

Cameron Gordon May was born on August 13, 1963 in Drayton Valley and was the second youngest child. He has 2 older sisters Linda and Donna and 2 older brothers Perry and Bill as well as a younger brother Dean. His parents were Agnes and Gordon May.

Cameron was a spunky and full of life kid who was a complete dare devil that often landed him in trouble. In his younger years he lived with his family in Evansburg, then moved around to numerous places. As an adult Cam was very skilled and had a vast amount of experience operating heavy machinery, from a cat, backhoe, skidder, logging truck, tank truck to anything that had an engine or wheels, he took great pride in that.

Cameron always loved loud motors or anything fast. He had a passion for food, whether eating or cooking it. He was a great cook. He specialized in homemade lasagna, shepherds pie and homemade soup. It was obviously a family trait because everyone in his family are excellent cooks.

Cameron had a very interesting sense of humor, he loved to tease you, bug you or just scare the crap out of you especially if you were watching a movie with him. He was known for his hard exterior and sarcasm but also for his complete loyalty, kindness and friendship, he would give  the shirt off of his back to help someone.

His passions included movie trilogies or sequels of any kind including Rambo, Star Trek and Star Wars. He loved baseball, which he was very good at as well as track and field in high school. Cameron loved visiting family and friends which usually included him challenging someone to a game of cards. He was frequently seen coming out of Mitch’s (the old Skyros) or the Three Knights. His Donald Duck impression always won over the kids. He was a man of many words!

He was witty, smart, funny, sarcastic and most of all caring. Cam you will be remembered, and always loved by your siblings, nieces, nephews and friends.

Cameron is now reunited with is mom and dad and a sister in Heaven.

Enjoy the crib game Cam, we love you and will miss you.

Remember, don’t cheat!
