PAMELA ANN PARSONS
May 3, 1947 - Jan 30, 2020.
Pam Parsons of Buck Lake, Alberta passed away on January 30 at Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 72. She was predeceased by her husband Randy and her parents Archie and Diana McBlane of Red Deer. She is survived by her daughters Lisa-Marie Parsons (Steve) and Vanessa (Gifford) Lewis, her brother Michael McBlane, and her 6 grandsons along with numerous friends.
Pam was born in Red Deer where she lived until she finished high school, after which she attended college in Vermillion. She was married to Randolph Clement Parson on July 18, 1970. Pam and Randy moved many times over the years including time in Yellowknife, Three Hills and Whitecourt where Pam worked as a librarian or program assistant for special needs students in several different schools.
Pam has lived at Buck Lake for over 20 years and spent many of those years volunteering with the Drayton Valley Hospital Auxiliary and participating in several local quilting club.
Pam was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, February 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Kenton Penner officiating.
If anyone wishes, donations may be made in her name to the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Drayton Valley Hospital Auxiliary.
